Welp...

I finally did it...Sewed the needle all the way through my finger...and in a moment of shock grabbed the string that was still threaded and yanked it out. Unfortunately I couldn't get a good photo of the exit wound. This hurt like a mutha and it doesn't look a tenth of how band it hurts. It was bound to happen some time. I cant tell you how many scars I have from my glue gun, like serious for the rest of my life scars. The needle not only went all the way through the finger but it split the nail all the way across.

Can you tell when nothing too exciting is going on in my life??? All I post is Etsy stuff. I made these little bloomies a few days ago and put them in my shop today, I think they turned out pretty cute! Thats all...

This table was spotless this morning...not so much anymore. I don't know what it is but when I make stuff I cant seem to do it in an organized fashion. Seriously, do other people make messes like this??? Probably not. And...poor boyfriend, I don't have a work space so I do it on the kitchen table, he LOVES that. 

And...

I must be trippin' (do you like how I said I was trippin' not tripping) to post a photo of my beat-A feet. Im just so obsessed with my new paint job...that I had to show them. These things "sparkle like JEWELS " (as Estee put it) Love them and my last ones (that were a lot more subtle, they were pink) stayed on for over 2 months. Im LOVING this yellow though...My cute sister-in law Lyndsey did them, I highly recommend her expertise.

What dreams are made of...

This fabric store was more amazing than anything I could have cooked up in my dreams...

Exhibit A: Look at the mullet someone has cut on this little boy mannequin, the combo of the mullet and the americana really made for a classy duo.

Exhibit B: You have got to see this one close up and that doesn't even do it justice, these dolls were FREAKY to say the least and they had greasy shiz EVERYWHERE hanging on the walls!

That being said I did purchase a few of these greasy items.

Cabbage...

While my family was enjoying crispy cream chicken burgers (yes these are for real) at the Del Mar fair, boyfriend and I were at the Orem carnival. The food was poo-poo (unlike the Del Mar fair that has row after row of deep fried delights) and there were like three rides...that my man wouldn't go on with me. He said he would only go on a ride that didn't involve spinning...ummm, I had to brake it to him...its a carnival not Disneyland, there are no roller coasters, just spinning death traps. He was rolling that I knew the name of them all by heart, like the gravitron, sizzler, zipper, tornado and yo-yo...Anyway, so I didn't get to go on any rides or get any cotton candy...where was all the cotton candy? I live for that shiz. But, it was fun being with my man making out under the fireworks...no, we didn't really make out...but we could have.  Isn't it funny the 2 of us taking photos of each other. Its funny when its just the 2 of you and your in one photo, he is in one photo and then you have the extended arm of both of us photo...dippy.

I love him SO much! Happy fathers day dad...I cant wait for daddy-daughter weekend this year. You really are and amazing dad! And...happy fathers day to Mark and Chris you are such wonderful dads too...take those little girls on daddy daughter weekends when they grow up, its one of my favorite times of  the year!

So big...

How did MY Estee get SO big..? Yesterday she said to me, "Auntie, you Mommies sister, like me and Simonie." We are so in LOVE!!!

So, I dont really have anything to blog about....however I did take the funniest photos EVER (to me...and sister) at the craziest fabric store I have ever been to in my life ( I must say the gettoh joint had some hidden treasures, bomb-A 80's lace and millinery flowers). But...I dont have the connector cord thing so I will have to post them later. Im in San Diego, and the whole family is here. Very lovely. We drove here...poo-poo. I think Adam and I are going to get the Honda NGV... and when Im paying .63 cents down at the gas station, sockin' it to the man, Im going to be very happy...cant wait.  So, last night I woke up in the middle of the night with the itchy legs (does anyone else get that???) I have a chronic case...probably every other night. So bad, I have even woke up with scratches on my legs. Anyway, I had the itchy legs and so I went into the bathroom here at Auntie Lane's house to find some lotion to put on them...I woke up in the morning to the smell of self tanner and couldn't figure it out....until I saw my palms. Ummm, I had caked on self tanner at 4:00 am in the dark. You can imagine how my legs and hands look, not to mention I rubbed the excess after I had put it on my legs on my elbows. Perfect.

 Well, I guess thats it...other than if it is readily avalible to you, run dont walk down to the jack in the box to get the oreo shake, its something special.

Days like this ALL I can think about is my family and wonder how my spirit was blessed enough to be with them. Love them so much.

Sweetie pizzle....

Look at my boyfriend...isn't he darling. I just thought I would do a post about what a wonderful husband I have (other than the fact that he is trying to make me watch Mission impossible 2 with him right now...and I would literally rather have my fingers ripped off). For those of you who know Adam you already know that there isn't a mean bone in his body. He is as sweet as they come and such a hard worker. Im so proud of him and so thankful and blessed to have such a wonderful husband who takes care of me. Love this guy so much and hope that I can be the kind of wife that deserves him. 

Say whaaa...

I made these cupcakes with buttons on them because whenever Estee comes to my house she wants to play with my buttons, so sister and I picked out some of her favorites and put them on her cupcakes.
How cute is this birthday girl in the crow I made for her...I had to make her 2 because she wasn't very specific when she said she wanted a birthday crown!

I cant believe that MY Estee is 3! I cant tell you how much this little girl means to me. The love I have for her is unlike any other I have ever felt. She is everything to me and I hope and pray that she can feel the overwhelming attachment I have to her, and that I can always be her best friend and someone she can be herself with. This little girl is so special, she breaks my heart with her sweetness. Your Auntie loves you Pookie!!!

New...

I put a few new items in the Etsy shop...the 4th of july isn't my favorite holiday but I know some people go nutty for it (like my manfriend and his family). I just took down all of my spring decorations and now I am highly considering doing a little 4th of July decorating. I dont know we will see. As soon as I do something fun and somewhat social I will blog about something other than the Etsy shop, but until then...

We went to St. George this weekend and had such a good time...we saw Love at the Mirage and it was SO good, worth just taking a trip to Las Vegas for! I also got this item called tanning bed in a tube and Im OBSESSED...its a gradual self tanner that as soon as you put it on it makes your legs look golden bronze. Its REAL nice. Just thought I would share those 2 items of interest, since I dont really have anything to blog about.

Can you believe that Im posting a photo of my house this messy? This is what it looks like after a day of making little what-nots...How cute is little Jr....just smiling her little heart out,  she is as sweet as they come. Sister and the girls came down today and we fine dined at the J-doggs and had a little picnic. Love those 3 ladies so much.

treasures...

At least I think they are treasures...I love nothing more than a good day at a thrift store, and that's exactly what I had the other day. Now this might not look like much to you but I was peeing my pants over this stuff. you cant tell how cute that lamp is but it might be my favorite thing ever, all turquoise and gold like. Well, maybe the glasses are my favorite. I collect vintage drinking glasses and finding the silver ones with the numbers on them made my day (the red ones are REAL cute too), PERFECT condition, love the vintage carol singer candles and the mini light up Swiss village.  And I couldn't leave that cute puppy dog at the thrift store either, staring at me with those sad eyes...it's actually really cute and on this hand carved wood. I thought it might be cute in Estee's room. Oh, and some darling fabrics! So that's the skinny, nothing much going on. We went to San Diego and it made me miss it so much. I wish I could move my little house and boyfriend down there...that would be perfect.
