Felt delights...

I saw some pincushions like these on line and since I desperately needed one I made these two...one for me and one for Amy. I stayed with Amy a few nights last week because Chris was out of town and we were quite the party animals. And since I was at her house i made her take the photos this time...Did you see the photos of my booties? NOT GOOD. She has a way of making anything look its very best. Its really amazing. Love her.

This is just a dippy passport holder I whipped up on the same night for her trip to Europe, the brat! So, jealous and going to miss her like crazy...but my mom will be here so that will be so much fun. She is going to teach me to sew, amongst other things. The lady can do it all and I need some lessons. Hope your weekend was good.
Tomorrow I'm going to try to post some photos of the house...its really coming along, I got my tile ordered and my cute wallpaper (I'm sure you have seen it, 2 of the prints are from Anthropologie, very darling) and my window covering. We are in business.

Ann I love the pin cushions! TOO CUTE! I was thinking bumble bees would be cute too with black and white checkers?? Anyway...You and Amy inspire me! I need to come stay with you two in Salt Lake for a week and get motivated and inspiration!!! I love your house by the way! It is so cute! The Labor of Love...My dream is to do the same thing one of these days! Nick and I really want to buy an older home and gut it and do it up! Some day! I just love reading your blog...I meant to tell you I am the same way with the TV....Nick hates it but too many things run through my mind before bed! I have to watch TV to calm me down...I tend to watch the FOOD NETWORK! HE HE....Anyway...Happy Sunday and I love the pin cushions!!!

That is so funny you made these. I was at the fabric store the other day and saw the "traditional" pin cushion....the tomato. I thought about getting it but didn't. Yours are much cuter!!! Seriously, open a store so you can sell all of your goodies!!!

I've recently started experimenting with felt but I for sure have made nothing even close to how cute your creations are!
