For the record: I don't plan on taking photos of all the food I eat and blogging about it, this is just because I haven't blogged in a while and Im holding out for New Years photos...
Last night I went and saw the movie Spirit with my friends Meggan and Mairin...before the movie we stopped at the very fine Sconecutter restaurant. Run don't walk is all I have to say. I think the last time I ate there was around 1999 and it was alright but last night was something else. If you're wondering what that freaky pink stuff in the cups is, its called "fry sauce" its a nasty concoction of mayonnaise and ketchup and its a real hot ticket hear in Utah. Im not into it at all but people go bonkers for it. Like if you go through a drive through, they put fry sauce in the bag not ketchup.
1. That Amy, Chris and the girls are o.k. They slid off the road and rolled their car twice on the way home for Christmas...and walked away from the accident. Such a huge blessing I cant begin to tell you.
I love looking at old christmas photos...they make my heart pitter-patter. I love the details, like the puffy painted sweatshirts and the reindeer above the mantel in the bottom photo that my mom still hangs up in her house. I know what these photos smelt like and sounded like...
( We are for sure listening to the true value christmas record, that we still listen to, run don't walk if you can get your hands on one...its MAGIC)
We are going home on Sunday and I cant wait to feast my eyes upon the ones I love. Its funny how for me the house that I grew up in still feels like home the second I walk through the door. Some things never change and in this case...nothing could make me happier!
Don't judge me for not having any make-up on or for wearing my mans puffy coat...but most of all don't judge me for parking in the spot reserved for expectant mothers.
So what if my breadstick looks like it got ran over by a truck. I have to come clean, I cant hold my love in any longer...I must share it with the world. All I want to eat twamp4sev is the Olive Garden salad. Im obsessed. (and maybe a swimming pool of alfredo for dipping my breadsticks) I know this photo is extremely unappetizing and that the Olive Garden is less than fancy...but maybe I have been eating the to-go salad for lunch almost everyday.
Look at this one bigger...he's happy as a toad! Boyfriend calls it work, but his grin in these photos says otherwise...We are starting to get the backyard landscaped and he is in heaven with all the digging and big machines. My brother-in-law trent is on one of the tractors and I think he's having just as much fun! Thanks for the help. I will post some photos when its done in the Spring.
So, I know this is WAY too many photos, the only thing that is missing is my village and that is still not all the way done...I have decide to keep it up through January. (you heard it)
Just a few little whatnots that are around the house...
I love having the house all decorated, nothing is worse than taking it all down and having your house look so plain.
Dressing up is not fun for Simone...it is very serious business. She doesn't even crack a smile. Amy sent this to me today and I couldn't stop laughing at it...if only you knew how serious she is about it.
Im not quite sure why, but thats my face at the top of the Etsy home page. Just thought I would post it 1. because it was kind of random and 2. I don't have anything else to blog. At some point I might think about posting photos of my house, but my village isn't up yet. I know... something is wrong with me. I will get my act together one of these days.
We had such a fun anniversary...fine dining, Australia and maybe a double-dip to see Twilight for the 4th time. And here I am trying not to look chubby at a bit over 3 months. Im at that stage where I just look like a chubette more than anything else.
Its all for you little peanut, and Im very happy about it.
I really cant believe that 3 years ago boyfriend and I got married...and now a little baby on the way. He is such a good person and I am so blessed and comforted by the fact that he will be an amazing father. He truly is the only one for me.
Look at these 2 crazy kids in love... I am one lucky lady...
I was so excited when I got home last night and found these magazines in the mail...
This first one is a Chinese magazine that is SO beautiful...they actually did a 3 page interview with sister and I. They were obsessed with Amy's blog and her photography and put a ton of photos from the etsy shop.
These are just a few of the adds from the magazine so you can see how cute it is!
And then Pregnancy and newborn magazine...
The editor contacted me through Etsy and wanted to include this onesie in a little vintage finds page. And how cute are those blocks to the left of the onesie?
Nothing too exciting...from a small town in California called Yuba City. I have a twin sister and two older brothers. Im obsessed with my nieces and nephews...and my handsome hubby, Boyfriend Adam...love him, and of course my sweet Mister, baby Jude.
