Im so lucky to have such a wonderful Mom. She is truly my best friend and such a loving and kind person. She can do it all...and do it better than anyone I know...cook, sew, paint, decorate cakes, upholster furniture, and "she could have been a professional beauty operator" (thats what granny always says). I love you Mom. We are going to P-A-R-T-Y when you get here.
Not to mention, when I get there....If I look this good on the beach it will be a blessing.

This is what boyfriend looks like when he is trying REALLY hard to keep his eyes open. I think out of like 5 photos this is the only one that he had his beautiful blue eyes open in and he looks quite grouchy (hes not though...hes very sweet) and I look cross eyed. We went out to dinner with Chris and Sister to Michelangelo's in Sugar House...run don't walk for real!!! Such good italian food.

What looks like a wild night, in reality consisted of a bottle of Martinelli's and posing for some photos. We really did have a ton of fun.
Last night I went and saw the movie Spirit with my friends Meggan and Mairin...before the movie we stopped at the very fine Sconecutter restaurant. Run don't walk is all I have to say. I think the last time I ate there was around 1999 and it was alright but last night was something else. If you're wondering what that freaky pink stuff in the cups is, its called "fry sauce" its a nasty concoction of mayonnaise and ketchup and its a real hot ticket hear in Utah. Im not into it at all but people go bonkers for it. Like if you go through a drive through, they put fry sauce in the bag not ketchup.
I love looking at old christmas photos...they make my heart pitter-patter. I love the details, like the puffy painted sweatshirts and the reindeer above the mantel in the bottom photo that my mom still hangs up in her house. I know what these photos smelt like and sounded like...

Boyfriend calls it work, but his grin in these photos says otherwise...We are starting to get the backyard landscaped and he is in heaven with all the digging and big machines. My brother-in-law trent is on one of the tractors and I think he's having just as much fun! Thanks for the help. I will post some photos when its done in the Spring.
So, I know this is WAY too many photos, the only thing that is missing is my village and that is still not all the way done...I have decide to keep it up through January. (you heard it)

Dressing up is not fun for Simone...it is very serious business. She doesn't even crack a smile. Amy sent this to me today and I couldn't stop laughing at it...if only you knew how serious she is about it.
Im not quite sure why, but thats my face at the top of the Etsy home page. Just thought I would post it 1. because it was kind of random and 2. I don't have anything else to blog.
