Sister inspired me to post. I can't believe that it has been 2 months since I blogged last. I am lazy... I have been instagraming it up though. (my username is louandlee if you would like to follow me)

Here are a few updates...

Here is the man of the hour a few weeks ago. He's so cute and I love him so much already. I am more than ready for him to be here. They will not let me go past the 7th (or something like that) I will have an exact date on Friday. As far as TMI...Im not making any progress, if you know what I mean...so it looks like I might have to be induced because they don't want him to get too big. HA...I say, TOO LATE. I am currently on bed rest until he comes and bored out of my mind.

Here is a little sneak peak at the mini nursery. You can't tell how small it is in the photo...but its a meer 6'x5 1/2'. I almost have it done. As you can see, the mattress isn't in the crib because it is currently in a red plastic Cars toddler bed (adam is building a bed for him so its very temporary).

Here is my guy. I can't even say how much I love this boy of mine. He is so special. He has been such a good boy while I have been on bed rest. Sometimes he brings me a snack and tells me that brother needs it. I can't wait to see him with brother.

Sister threw me a perfect shower for my boy. I wish I would have taken a photo of it in all its glory. She had a chocolate fountain with anything and everything to dip in it, our favorite Jdawgs, and tons of delish bevies. Also, she made all of the decorations and they were even cuter in person-the letters on the boy banner were faux bois...so darling. It was so fun to celebrate baby boy with my nearest and dearest. Thank you sissy for the perfect night.

Happy Birthday to Sissy...and me!

I can't imagine not sharing this special day with Sister. I can't imagine what it would be like not being a twin. I can't imagine not having our special connection. And, to all of you moms with twins...I can't imagine how hard it must be to raise twins, but just know...there is nothing more amazing in the world than being a twin, and going through life with a partner.

My family was in town for sweet Lewis' blessing this weekend...and I can't tell you how fun it was to have everyone here!!!

On Labor day we went to Lagoon with everyone...it was such a perfect day.

On Tuesday we went to beautiful Park City and rode the Alpine slide and celebrated my brother Walker's birthday...Happy birthday on the 9th Walker, we love you!!!

Can you believe we are having another boy! We are so excited...I am so happy that my Mister will have a little brother. I can just see the trouble makers now. I seriously thought that I was having a girl, until right before the ultrasound.

Where have I been??? Well, you see...Im pregnant, and sick. Yes, I am pregnant again. I am so very excited but so very nervous also. We saw our little baby on Wednesday and we love it so much already. Its very scary, but oh so happy at the same time. I am 10 weeks and sick as a dog. We will have a little Valentine baby. Say a little prayer for us!

I had book club at my house this month and it was so fun. I love all of the ladies in book club and feel so lucky to call each of them a friend of mine. It has been the best thing!

and...our new little boy Lewis. I just love him. He is sweet and very handsome. And get out of town with his nursery. Amy is awesome. She had a perfect labor...it must be nice!!!

I seriously cant believe that my Mister is 2...he is so big. I love every day with him and truly feel so blessed that I get to be his Mommy. I cant believe that 2 years ago today I kissed him for the first time and held his (not so) little body in my arms. It is a moment I will never forget. Happy birthday son.

I have a confession to make...and I am seriously embarrassed and you might judge my mothering skills. Here it goes...Mister still drinks a bottle before bed. Today I tried putting water in a small bottle (in the photo above) and he threw it across the room. He LOVES his baba, I mean... eyes rolling in the back of his head loves it. So I have indulged him. I will however not go into his 2 year check up and tell my doctor that he is still on the sauce. So I have to get moving...any tips. Poor baby, I am about to take away his very favorite thing!

Boyfriend and I just got back from fabulous Las Vegas...we were actually going to Cobo, but the night before our flight, my man realized that his passport expired in January. Whomp whomp. So...we headed south and had a perfect time!

Sometimes I get sad thinking about what we, as a family are missing out on with the miscarriage. I especially think of my mister and how perfect the age gap would have been, and how close they were sure to be. Sometimes I cry...but then I look at my boy and I tell myself that he is all I ever need...that I have been overly blessed, to be his mom. Anytime I have a sad thought about this situation, I ALWAYS name a blessing right after...it is only fair. I have so much.

Poor boyfriend had to go in for surgery, so I have been very busy taking care of my 2 boys.

We found this old photo of our house...can you even believe it??? Seriously, it looks like the only house in Provo!

Happy Easter...

From my handsome boy...

Im not going to lie...This Easter Sunday was interesting to say the least (it was just one of those days for me)... But I know Mister loved it and had such a fun day, so thats all that really matters.

he LOVED his basket and was so excited when he saw it...he went a-running for it!

Yesterday we dyed eggs with Sister and her family...so much fun. Cant you tell how thrilled Monie is...? She really was having fun, but I rolled when I saw this photo.

I am so thankful for this special day. What a miracle to celebrate!

I cant say thank you enough for all of the comments, emails, flowers and cards that I received about my last post. This has made me love blogging all over again. I don't know what I would have done without the kind words.

And...I dont know what I would have done without my sweet mother, Sister and boyfriend.

This experience has been a nightmare...sad, disappointing and humbling all at the same time. At this point I am just trying to get back to my everyday life and do the things I did before.

Love these babies...

My Mom flew into town as fast as can be and I am so thankful for her. She tried to keep me busy with baking and just basically being her sweet self.

She left yesterday...so sad.

...But we are happy and blessed in so many ways.

Today it happened....What will inevitably happen to all of us (in varying degrees) at some point...Today I had the worst day of my life so far...

In a nutshell: I went in to my doctor, found out that I was 16 weeks pregnant (I was off on my dates so I wasn't sure how far along I was) then found out that I had lost our sweet little baby. I knew the moment I saw that little body on the screen that it was lifeless. Heartbreak. Im am writing this because I know that there are so many woman who have gone through similar experiences, because I want to have a record of this day and because I want ask for your prayers. I go in for my D&C tomorrow and I am so nervie.

I am so thankful for my beliefs. For the knowledge that I will get to raise this little baby after this life, that he was so sweet and innocent that he only needed to receive a body for such a short time and was able to quickly return home to his father in heaven.

It was so pretty here yesterday...Mister and I were outside pretty much all day, blowing bubbles and playing in the yard.

Boyfriend got his bikes out...and Mister is VERY serious about his...as you can see in the above photo. He would sit on that thing all day if I let him.

Here is me and my sweet boy. (dont mind the stamp on his forehead or his scraggly Mum) I love this boy more than I can say. He is my partner, we are best friends. I get to take care of, teach and play with him everyday and I DO NOT take that for granted. When you think about raising these babies and teaching them everything you know, loving them and doing what is best for them...only to have them leave you (in a sense) in the end to live their own lives and make their own decisions...It makes motherhood sound like a very cruel trick...But...oh so very worth it.

Mister is currently obsessed with the potty...or more like washing his hands. He knows that when he asks to sit on the potty the next step is that he gets to wash his hands...which is like going to Disney land. So we do this a couple of times a day...

I am about to boast about my boy...I love him so much. Doesn't he look 17 in this photo? Good thing he has baby hair still or he would look 23. He is so smart, he tells me everything. He knows most of his colors. Everyday he gets smarter and smarter. Im pretty sure tomorrow he will be smarter than me.

My mom came to help me with some of my work and stayed with us for a while. He was in heaven.

Thanks for all of the comments and advise on my last post. Unfortunately, we had it looked at and everyone agreed, there was no retrieving any of my photos off of the hard drive. waah!

It is really a very sad story. My computer crashed...meaning I lost EVERYTHING. Every photo and video of my baby..everything gone. Didn't I have back up?...no, I dont even know what that means. Didn't I print my photos?...no, and now I hate digital photography. I long for the days of shoe boxes full of photos. Seriously, I cried for 2 days. But thanks to this blog and my Mom who saved everything I have ever emailed her, I have remnants of Misters infancy. I was a fool...and blame myself (maybe mostly boyfriend because he knew better) so now I will learn from this lesson and print out my photos every month. For now, here is a photo of the Easter bonnet headband that I recently listed in the shop.

Not much has been going on around here...But I thought I would post a few photos from this last weeks events.

I love Mister all clean and ready for bed. He has such an addiction to his "B's" as he calls them. (his blankies...yes he has 2...I don't know where he got this habit from)

This is his favorite place in boyfriend's office, on top of a filing cabinet. He looks like such a midgie man...I think its the shoulder pads in his blazer...HA!

Adam, Mister and I flew home at Christmas, so we didn't have room to bring home any of our Christmas gifts. So, Amy and chris brought them home in their car. I don't know how, but I kept forgetting them whenever Sister and I would meet up (I know, its child abuse) so its been like Christmas all over again for my boy!

I have been growing out my bangs, and I am FINALLY to the point were I don't feel like a freak (I hate growing out my bangs)...even though I look like one in this photo (its the best I had)

This guy came and stayed in my back yard for hours...seriously, 1/2 of the time he spent peeing...it took him like 5 min. to pee pee.

And, Sissy and I went to find out what she is having yesterday...and as you can see its a boy. I am so excited for her...well, for all of us!!!

Also, my honey man turned 19 months a few days ago. I just cant believe how big he is getting. Not to mention he is flat out talking to me these days. He is such a joy. Half my day is spent glowing with pride...a feeling I don't think you fully get until you are a parent. I just love him so much.

He is starting to talk so much, I just cant wait to hear all of his little thoughts. Things that make him happy and sad, I look forward to the sweet and even some of the naughty things he might say to me. I just love him.

We had a very merry Christmas. I love being with family. Mister was so cute and loved waking up to cousins everyday.

Lets start by discussing ironing...the photo below will forever haunt me because of the wrinkles. I iron EVERYTHING I put on my Mister...fanatically. Clothes always look so much better when they are ironed. 'But these are Pjs?!" you say...I say, they should have been ironed. They would have looked so much better in the photo. I know that is crazy to some but I blame my Mother. HA!

these are the jammies for the kids this year. I got the cute striped, organic cotton pjs from the Wallyworld and then I did all the kiddies initials in felt...top hat for the boys and a sprig of holly for the girls.

I have been working my buns off to get all my orders out. Did I bite off more than I can chew? Ummm...No?, but its not going to be easy getting all of these orders out. Thats what I have been doing. How is your holiday season going?

Happy Halloween!

When I was in Las Vegas this Summer for daddy/daughter, I saw a little baby Elvis costume and I just knew that is what I wanted my Mister to be this year.

So my sweet and talented Mother whipped up the costume and I bejeweled it until my fingers almost fell off...

Can you believe the little guitar I found at a thrift store...I added the strap and it was perfect!

Isn't he handsome as the king...I could not believe how long he kept his wig on!

I sound ridiculous in this video, but Mister is so cute...

We went to Allred's today and got my favorite Fuji apples...and I made that Heath apple dip to go with them...heaven! Here is the recipe if you haven't tried it.

Heath bar apple dip

1 8 oz. package of cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup sugar

3/4 cup of brown sugar

1 t vanilla

3 (or more) heath bars broken up

apple wedges

cream together cream cheese, sugars and vanilla

stir in heath bar bits with a spoon.

We went to the park with Sarah and Oscar...the boys had the time of their lives...seriously.

I started to decorate for halloween...Its crazy how different I have to do things now that I have the destroyer around. I hate taking photos because it always just looks like a big old mess. It turned out pretty cute anyway.

How cute is this darling Warm Sugar doll that I got in the mail today?! Im obsessed. So obsessed in fact that I think I wont let Mister play with it...So pretty and well made, he even has rosy cheeks. She does them custom for you, hair and eye color, and MORE than reasonably priced.

And..back in the 80's my granny really fell in to the cabbage patch kids craze...I mean like she bought hundreds (not an exaggeration) and now jude has inherited a couple of mint 80's cabbage patch dolls. He's mostly fascinated with its pacifier. I love the yarn fro.

Could you die? I went thrifting the other day and got these perfect vintage glasses...maybe my favorites ever...and a cute pyrex butter dish. For some reason, I have a real thing for butter dishes.

Could you die all over again at the Fire king lusterware set that I got on the same trip...Im obsessed with it...and it is in mint condition.

Sarah, Sister, Jen, Amy D. and I had so much fun out to dinner the other night...and you know we stopped by the Chili's afterwords for some white chocolate molten cake...and it did not disappoint!

Oh, and we have a snake infestation...could you think of anything worse? Would you believe, one slithered right over my foot the other day when I was walking into the house?! And would you believe that when said incident occurred that my man gave me the international signal to shush when I screamed because he was on the phone?! Some people!

I thought I might get deported if I didn't make some of those tissue pompoms for a baby shower...so I did...and maybe I regret it.

Today Sarah and Oscar came over and made us a VERY delicious lunch. We had so much fun, and took our sweet boys for a walk in the rain, thunder and lightning...it was magical.

While I love a fancy, gourmet treat or item every once in a while...there is just something in me that loves things sometimes that maybe Im not so proud to admit. So, I am starting ghetto monday, where I divulge these secrets of mine.

Im starting with a real Humdinger...Run, don't walk yourself down to the Taco Time and get yourself a BAVARIAN CREAM EMPANADA. Its basically a deep fried flour tortilla filled with the most delicious vanilla cream and then rolled in cinnomon-sugar (my heart is pitter-pattering just thinking of it). And...if you are a local, be sure to go to the one located on 2300 North...they give you whipped cream to dip your empanada into. Trust me, you will thank me/hate me for the rest of your life.

What is sweeter than hearing your baby talk? I love it when mister is playing (I call it working because he is very serious about it) and he is babbling to himself. When boyfriend comes home it is always "Da-dee"...and when he leaves mister says "bye-bye"! I love his sweet voice, I love all of these changes...but where did my baby go? He came and went so quickly. How is it that this process can be so bittersweet? Time is the same...its quick but its slow. In some ways it feels like I just had him, but it also feels like he has been here forever. All I know is that he is my best friend, my constant companion...and I truly would not have it any other way.

Woke up to it DUMPING snow...I was so happy (not at all)

This is the 2nd (over 60 year old) tree that we have lost this month...the first one was taken out by a woman that was "lookin' so hard she straight hit the curb" and then took out a sign in front of the house and a tree, and this one (above) I don't know if you can see from this angle ( it was to cold to go outside to take the photo) but it collapsed from the weight of the snow.

I brought in the potted plants so, I hope they make it!?

What do you say about a Mother...the most sacred role on this earth? I hope I never forget the feeling in that moment (in the photo above) a spiritual experience that compares to no other. I knew this person in my arms...remembered him. What a gift and a blessing to be a woman and a Mother.

My Mother gave me a beautiful life. I always knew that I was loved and safe, what more could a child ask for? I hope to be 1/2 the Mother she is. I pray to be as selfless and willing to sacrifice as her. She gave me such a lovely example to follow.

I have been loving this weather...we have been working in the yard. I planted our garden the other day, I can not wait to have fresh vegetables and herbs...and strawberries. (if things actually grow, this is my first try at gardening and I have no clue what I am doing)

WOWZA! I made this trifle for Adam's dads birthday. Homemade chocolate Texas sheet cake, vanilla custard and butterfinger. It was real nice.

Mister is IN TO EVERYTHING. Seriously, I turn my back for one second and this is how I find him.

I love his new pants...they say " I like milk"...you have got to love kawaii kids.
